FAQs
What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a necklace, anklet, or (more commonly) a bracelet that doesn't have a typical clasp for easy removal. Instead, the ends are welded or “zapped” together — with the intention of never taking it off.
Our jewelry comes in either 14k Gold filled or Silver and we have many options for charms to personalize your bracelet!

What if I need to remove my jewelry?
The chains used during this process are thick enough to last but not thick enough to cause harm to the wearer in the event that it becomes caught on an object or needs to be removed for any reason. Simply snip with a pair of scissors at the jump ring. Should you wish to remove the jewelry for any reason, it can be re-welded.
Does it hurt?
No, during this process the customer won’t feel a thing while we are working with the metal. The welder only reacts to metal and should it come in contact with the skin, the electrode will not generate a spark.

What if I need to remove my bracelet for an MRI or traveling with TSA?
Consult your doctor if you will be required to remove your permanent jewelry during your X-ray or MRI appointment. All ferrous metals (ie stainless steel) must be removed prior to entering the MRI exam room. If you aren’t sure if your jewelry contains ferrous metals, you can use a magnet at home and test it on your own. If the magnet tries to “grab” the jewelry then it cannot enter an MRI exam room. If you do need to remove it, make sure to cut it at the ring, store it safely, and bring it back to us for a re-weld!
TSA will not ask you to remove your jewelry. It can travel with you worldwide!
